Dr. Rada Sumareva Recognized for Excellence in Dentistry
Dr. Rada Sumareva is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodology and President of RADA

NEW YORK, NY, July 30, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rada Sumareva, DDS, Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the President of the Russian-American Dental Association, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of dentistry.

With an impressive professional background in the areas of oral cancer research and immunobiology of periodontal disease, Dr. Sumareva specializes in periodontics and implant dentistry. The recipient of the first prize in the ADA and Greater New York Dental Meeting Research Table Clinic Competitions, she is actively involved with the American Dental Association, serving on the SCADA Board of Governors since 2003 and currently as a judge in the basic science category for the ADA's scientific sessions. In recognition of her professional contributions to the dental industry, Dr. Sumareva was nominated by Cambridge Who's Who as a professional of the Year.

Hard work and perseverance are the undisputed keys to Dr. Sumareva's success. A graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, class of '96, she is a member of the student activities committee of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Periodontology, Student Clinicians of the American Dental Association, the Northeastern Society of Periodontists, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society.

Dr. Sumareva is the co-founder of the Russian-American Dental Association and currently serves as the president of the organization.
