GLENDALE, NY, August 12, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Christina L. Liu, President of Smile Check Dental, PC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.

Dr. Liu attributes her 17 years of success to her hard work. As president of Smile Check Dental, PC, she is in charge of performing chairside power whitening, invisalign wireless orthodontics, restorative implant procedures, periodontal care, laminate veneers, root canals, and dontic and laser treatment procedures. She became involved in her profession because her uncle was a dentist and he advised her to enter the field.

In 1992, Dr. Liu received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. During her two-year general practice residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, she was named chief resident in her second year based on her outstanding performance. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
