Alexander J. Pilavsky's family history in dentistry led him to become Co-Owner of IllustraDENT

NEW YORK, NY, December 11, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Alexander J. Pilavsky, Co-Owner of IllustraDENT, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in general dentistry.

As the Co-Owner of IllustraDENT, Alexander J. Pilavsky is responsible for managing direct patient care and ensuring that insurance claims are filled out properly. Dr. Pilavsky is pursuing a course in implant dentistry that will give him the experience needed to become a fellow at the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He manages the clinic along with his wife and father-in-law. He became involved in his profession because he always had an interest in the medical field and was inspired by his mother, who was a trauma surgeon in Russia. He attributes his success to his interpersonal skills.

Dr. Pilavsky received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the College of Dentistry at New York University in 2005. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
