AUSTIN, TX DECEMBER 11, 2009 /24-7Pressrelease.com/ South Portland, Maine - Millions of Americans live without dental insurance and as challenging economic times continue the services provided by non-profit dental clinics become increasingly important. In November, doctors from Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates joined more than 48 other oral health care providers around the state to provide dental care to uninsured and underinsured Mainers during Dentists who care for ME.

Doctors Moyer, Zajkowski, Shah, and MacCarthy were able to complete 8 comprehensive patient cases and gave an estimated $10,000 in services to recipients. "By joining forces with dental providers around the state, we collectively took a few small steps to help improve the dental health of Maine's population," said Dr. Brian Shah.

For over 29 years, the Doctors of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates have served the southern Maine community through their philanthropic efforts of donating their time, expertise, and dental services to those in need.
