HATTIESBURG, MS, September 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Low-Cost Medical Emergency Education for Dentists and Staff

The Institute of Medical Emergency Preparedness announces their low-cost solution for dentists and their staff for medical emergency preparedness and education. For less than $150 per year, the entire dental office can receive a medical emergency preparedness program that will be very simple to integrate into any dental office. It is all online which serves a "green initiative" from IMEP and anything can be downloaded. This program is AGD PACE-approved. The Medical Emergency Membership from IMEP consists of the following:

Earn up to 53 hours of Continuing Education per Year: EACH person in the office may earn up to hours of CE

Monthly Mock Drills, Clinical Scenarios & Online Testing: Each month, the dental team will receive mock drills, clinical scenarios and online testing. Each month will bring a different medical emergency. Therefore, medical emergency preparedness is an ongoing, continual process rather than an occasional event.

Testing Verification Systems (TVS): This will keep all test scores and test dates on file for each member in your office. A Doctor or Emergency Response Team (ERT) Leader can monitor and verify the progress of each ERT member and be assured that they are taking and successfully completing each examination monthly. With TVS, IMEP's records can also serve as an independent third party to demonstrate due diligence and regular emergency preparedness in the event of any litigation that may assert negligence or lack of preparedness.
